PROGRAM DIRECTOR
Dr. David Lee, M.D.
Dr. David Lee serves as the program director and chair of the NDLR program. He has founded the program with the initiatives of creating a collaborative research atmosphere in which the young investigators can connect and inspire research ideas and produce clinically meaningful outcomes. He is currently a gastroenterology fellow in a NIH-funded T32 research-clinical gastroenterology-hepatology fellowship at University of Maryland Medical Center. He uses his expertise in R-based statistical programming and software-based auto-parcellating algorithms to conduct advanced statistics, propensity score matching, iterative regression analyses, competing risk regressions, as well as prognostic modeling with internal validation methods using large databases. Thus far, his works has led more than 40 publications and over 100 abstracts that are either published or submitted.
CHIEF OPERATING MANAGER
Gregory Fan
Gregory Fan received his BA from Carleton College in 2008 and serves as the Task Manager for the team. His research interests include data analytics and data visualization, with a special focus in the use of multiple scripting and programming languages to seamlessly perform internal validity analysis, data plotting, and quality assurance. After finishing his post-baccalaureate program at Harvard, Greg plans to pursue a career in medicine. During his free time, Greg enjoys hiking, meditating and snacking on dried mangoes from Trader Joe's.
OPERATIONS MANAGER
John Han, M.S.
John Han serves as the Operations Manager for the NDLR program. He received his BS in Biochemistry and Cell Biology and BA in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego. He received his MS in Biomedical Sciences from Tufts University and is currently a 2nd year medical student at the Tufts University School of Medicine. Prior to medical school, John worked at multiple biotech start-ups as project manager and research associate. He was involved in projects developing mammalian cell lines for therapeutic recombinant proteins and developing human primary cell disease models of Nonalcoholic Alcoholic Hepatitis. His current research interests include hepatology and outcomes of liver transplantation. John plans to pursue a career in internal medicine and hepatology/gastroenterology. Outside of medicine, John enjoys playing tennis, basketball, and snowboarding.

SENIOR GRAPHICAL MANAGER
Ki Jung Lee
Ki Jung Lee serves as the Senior Operational Manager for the NDLR program. She received her BS in Tufts University from Tufts University, and is currently a 3rd year medical student at the Tufts University School of Medicine. Her previous research includes studying nutrition and ideal body weight, pancreatic cancer, and diabetes. Her current research interests include the liver, inflammatory bowel disease, gastric and colorectal carcinoma. Ki Jung plans to pursue a career in internal medicine. Apart from medicine, Ki Jung enjoys cooking and running.

Jean Kwon
Jean Kwon serves as the Editorial Manager for the NDLR program. She received her BS in Human Biology from Cornell University in 2017 and is currently a 2nd-year medical student at the Tufts University School of Medicine. Prior to medical school, she participated in undergraduate research at Cornell, investigating how mutations in the LMNA gene contribute to the progression of muscular dystrophies, and also worked as a teacher and medical assistant. Jean plans to pursue a career in pediatrics or internal medicine once graduating from medical school. Aside from medicine, she enjoys traveling, playing board games, and exploring new restaurants in town.

Kevin Chang
Kevin Chang works serves as the Editorial Manager for the NDLR program. He received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of Washington, Washington, and he also received his Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Tufts University. He is currently a medical student at Tufts University School of Medicine. During his free time, Kevin enjoys reading novels and engaging in collaborative gaming with friends.
ASSOCIATE GRAPHICAL MANAGER
Daniel Jung
Daniel Jung serves as the Graphical Manager for the NDLR program. He is currently a Year-2 medical student at University of Missouri, Kansas City School of Medicine's 6-year BA/MD program. His research interests include digital health, in regards to the incorporation of AI, AR, robotic/remote surgery, etc. into the healthcare field. Outside of work, Daniel enjoys photo/video editing, learning different instruments and performing music, and watching a great deal of educational content from youtube.

Harrison Chou
Harrison Chou serves as the Editorial Manager for the NDLR program. He is currently a junior at University of California, Los Angeles, majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Musicology. His current research interests include hepatology and cognitive science. In the future, Harrison hopes to pursue a career in the field of medicine. In his free time, Harrison enjoys playing viola and basketball.
SENIOR AUTHOR
David Hastie, M.D.
David Hastie is a Senior Author and former Operations Manager of the NDLR program. He received his BA in Mathematics from the College of the Holy Cross in 2014 and his Doctor of Medicine degree with Research Honors from Tufts University School of Medicine in 2022. He is currently a transitional year resident at Lemuel Shattuck Hospital in Boston and will be completing a residency in Diagnostic and Interventional Radiology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center. His research interests include the areas of oncology, transplant hepatology, and cirrhosis. Prior to medical school, David was a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Center for Neuro-Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, serving as the lead study coordinator for clinical trials evaluating novel therapies for patients with newly diagnosed and recurrent glioblastoma, as well as, patients with primary central nervous system lymphoma. Outside of medicine, David enjoys playing basketball and working on his photography and videography skills.

Elyse Addonizio, D. O.
Elyse Addonizio is a Senior Author and former Editorial Manager of the NDLR program. She received her BA in Psychology from the College of the Holy Cross in 2016 and her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2022. She is currently an Internal Medicine resident at the University of Massachusetts Memorial Medical Center. Her research interests include oncology, hepatology, and healthcare disparities in chronic disease management. Prior to medical school, Elyse was a Clinical Research Coordinator for the Center for Genitourinary Oncology at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute where she served as the lead study coordinator for clinical trials evaluating novel therapies for patients with bladder, prostate, and renal cancer. Outside of medicine, Elyse enjoys running, hiking, and skiing.
